CanU STEP UP Conversations: Access to Nature

Kelty McKinnon will be speaking on a panel for the Council for Canadian Urbanism’s discussion on “Access to Nature”

CanU is focused on advancing great urban design as the foundation for city building in communities across Canada. They do this by connecting people and professionals who have similar interests, educating and informing stakeholders and influencers, giving support to those involved in city design and advocating for better policies, programs and investments.

The goal of the STEP UP Series is to articulate actions for change in the design of Canadian cities underpinned by equity, livability and sustainability. CanU’s panelists experience and insight will help unlock the ‘big ideas’ behind these actions. In this online dialog series they are especially interested in the idea of ‘access for all’ to the benefits of the urban environment – with an emphasis on nature, mobility, housing and daily needs.
