Putting People First: a dialogue on Vancouver’s public spaces

PFS Studio’s Kelty McKinnon will be speaking on a panel for Urbanarium’s Smart City Talks on November 21, 2019.

The goal of URBANARIUM is to provide the Metro Vancouver community with a platform for making dialogue around urban issues accessible – how our urban systems and the forces acting on them work, what urban futures might happen and what we can do to affect those outcomes.

With the City of Vancouver’s recent release of the Gehl Report on Public Space and Public Life in Downtown Vancouver and the upcoming Downtown Public Space Strategy (as part of Places for People Downtown) due in early 2020, the Urbanarium has invited a panel of landscape architects, urban planners and equity specialists to discuss issues and opportunities around Vancouver’s public life.
