The landscape design for Westbank’s Frye Development responds to the design and programming of the Frye Museum across the street.
A large high quality forecourt with banded stone paving, ipe topped underlit seating, a small stage and art platform, a significant water feature and lush massings of west coast plantings create a programmable plaza for public and Museum activities. Cherry and Columbia streetscapes accommodate activated spill out space for adjacent retail with double rows of flowering street trees, special paving, lush stormwater planters, and subtle illumination. Amenity terraces throughout the tower are designed with a contemporary west coast aesthetic- with an outdoor pool and hot tub with lounge and viewing garden, as well as patios for entertaining, and a dog park for canine residents.
