Michal is a project designer in PFS Studio’s Toronto office with over seven years of experience working in Landscape Architecture. Drawing from his background in Landscape Architecture, Ecology, and Archaeology, Michal prioritizes the need for contemporary design to be attuned to cultural and ecological history. Michal treats all historical, ecological, and contemporary landscape components as layers in a unique assemblage that defines a place. In his projects, spanning green infrastructure, parks, environmental restoration, condominiums, and master planning, Michal prioritizes stormwater management as a means to integrate design components and create exciting spatial experiences. At PFS Studio, Michal works closely with project managers with his expertise in site analysis, construction, and graphic communication to realize the full potential of a site and celebrate its unique sense of place.
