PFS Studio is thrilled that Principal Nastaran Moradinejad has won the election for position of 2017-2018 CSLA President-Elect! Congratulations Nastaran!
April 4th, 2017 – The CSLA is pleased to report that Nastaran Moradinejad, BCSLA, AALA, and CSLA Board member, has won the election for the position of 2017-2018 CSLA president-elect. Her position will take effect on May 16th, 2017.
A bit about Nastaran from the CSLA press release: Nastaran arrived in Canada in August 2003, after attaining her Masters in Architecture from the University of Tehran. She came to Canada to pursue a passion for Landscape Architecture, which had gripped her in the last year or so of her studies in architecture. Since starting her Masters in Landscape Architecture at UBC she’s never looked back.
Now a Principal with PFS Studio in Vancouver, BC. Nastaran manages some of the firm’s largest and most significant projects in both the private and public sector. Nastaran is a highly effective communicator and strong project manager. Nastaran is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of BCSLA and AALA.
A committed volunteer, Nastaran has served on the BCSLA Board of Directors as President Elect, President and Past President from 2011 to 2014 and has been a member of the BCSLA Continuing Education Committee since 2009. She also sat on the District of North Vancouver Urban Design Panel from 2010 to 2012 and served as Vice Chair from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014 Nastaran has represented British Columbia on the Board of Directors of the CSLA, and has sat on the Strategic Planning Committee and the Advocacy and Government Relations Task Forces.
Today, building on the foundation of her heritage and training, Nastaran takes great pride in her chosen profession and country and is looking forward to applying her energy & enthusiasm to furthering the objectives of the CSLA strategic plan and contributing to the promotion and advancement of Landscape Architecture across Canada.”
