PFS Studio designed a stunning west coast landscape for the Palisades, a multi-family residential development occupying a city block in Vancouver’s West End.
The public open space along Bute Street combines a water feature and public art component within an expanded public realm setback. Working in collaboration with PFS Studio, artist Gwen Boyle composed an installation well integrated with PFS Studio’s dramatic water feature that begins in a hidden private inner courtyard and flows down the east side of the building, parallel to the street.
Private open spaces are filled with lush, carefully detailed gardens inspired by both West Coast and Asian garden traditions using a refined native planting palette and high quality finishes.
